Horrible. Have been on it this go around for 2 weeks. I have broken out in acne all over my face, gained 6 pounds literally overnight, my throat has felt swollen for 2 days and my stomach is horribly bloated. I am taking this for endometriosis, and frankly I would rather keep dealing with it than taking these pills. I was on them years ago before my kids were born and did not notice these issues.

I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term. I have been tacking Simcor for almost 3 months. In the beginning I had flushing and itching that was severe enough to bother me at night. That side effect has almost gone by now. However, I use to have my resting pulse around 52-54 beats per minute, just recently I've noticed that my resting pulse was elevated to around 68 - 74 beats per minute. I has helped some but it is really hindering me with side effects, the worst of which is a sexual side effect. I can NOT feel anything sexual.
