was taken to hospital after 3 days and was told that I had pneumona. I was given an IV and they used Penicillin to treat it. I felt better after 5 minutes.

I was considering Accutane for cycstic acne, but thought the blood tests, joint pain and peeling lips side effects were a bit much. This was a last resort recommended by the dermo I was regularly seeing, and I am pleased with it. I've been using it for several years for acne on my face and occasionally on my back as well. I took Candex for three days, one capsule in the morning with a very large glass of water. I am very sensitive to all kinds of medicine, so I was prepared for the worst. The only thing that seems related in time to the Candex doses was the veins in my hands and fingers dilating (getting really big), making my hands ache and my fingers and palms itch. I have occasional asthma (usually activity or allergy induced) and I used to use Albuterol before it was reformuated. The ProAir HFA is not as effective and does not come out of the dispenser very well. While it does help a bit with my asthma attacks the side effects are unpleasant and I avoid using the inhaler unless I completely have to. The side effects only last about 45 mins but they are still unpleasant.
