Pristiq is a terrible drug. It made me feel like I was on an upper. I had more anxiety with it than without it. DO NOT stop this drug cold turkey. LIke with Effexor, you will have terrible discontinuation effects, including brain zaps.

I take my prednisone when I am having an asthma flare which is rare, but the medicine does help tremendously whithin 1 to 2 days

No negative effects at all, only good for treating acne rosecea. Had suffered fom this condition without knowing and seeking medical advice for two years with horrendous breakouts of spots,blisters and patches of inflamed skin. Nexium has been the only medicine to help with my GERDS. My reflux was so bad it acid bubbled into my nose and I could not breathe; regardless of when I ate! There is nothing worse than being unable to not breathe! I would have to tell myself to be calm and let the acid bubbles subside to catch a breathe. The acidic cough is the worst! Nexium is the best! I am taking 100mg pristiq and I take 60mg of Strattera which acts as a booster to Pristiq. Maybe that would help you? Am having good results with Pristiq.

I took this only once, and it produced extreme chest tightness, breathing problems, stomach problems, severe dizziness, and anxiety. Within hours of taking it, I felt like someone had a fist in my chest, my breathing was labored, and I was so dizzy I was knocking into the walls. I'm still having some of these symptoms (though quite reduced) after three days. I've seen others on other sites reporting the exact same symptoms, yet dr "not sure" it's the medication.
