This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. this was prescribed for me for a period around 10 years ago for a bout of insomnia which lasted 3 weeks ive been on it for 10 years now ive had enough.

Zegerid has made my ankles swell. I am guessing it is the extra sodium it contains. It has helped my belching problem, however, it has contributed to a higher blood pressure reading.

Tylenol is sometimes ineffective when used frequently to the point where I have to go to sleep in order to escape the pain. Thus, I try to only take it in extreme cases for best results.

I'm 31 and have had nephrotic syndrome with flares every 6 months since I was 2. Bone density test shows my bones are stronger than most healthy people, but I drink a lot of milk. When I'm on Prednisone I cut salt out of my diet as much as possible (there's a lot of salt in milk) knowing that the more I eat, the more I will swell. Have been on Lipitor for 3 months now. Just got blood test results (fasting). Went from 250 down to 173!!!! Only thing I wasn't happy with was my sugar (glucose) went from previous 100 to 128 ( a little elevated)..I AM NOT going on sugar pills!!!! Maybe just coincidence!!
