I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen lo for most of the last several years. Side effects from that were little to none, and definitely tolerable. Cesia, however, has deprived me of any sex drive whatsoever. And even when I would become engaged in the activity with my husband, it wouldn't work... because I was completely dry. It is frustrating.

I tried Seasonique once I started being sexuially active again. The first month I developed a yeast infection, which is normal for me when I begin a new BC,then after 4 weeks I began spotting and breakthrough bleeding and this lasted for 2mths, finally I spoke to my OBGYN(who is a wonderful and amazing doctor) and he suggested that I stop that pack and start a new one(which he provided). Metformin

I started taking Metformin when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I started at a lower dosage twice daily and moved up to 850mg 3 years later and I haven't really had any problems with my blood sugar since then. Metformin keeps my blood sugar very stable and I am very happy with it.

Carbimazole

I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm. Caduet

I switched to Caduet to combine High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol medications I was taking. I didn't notice any side effects and it seems to have worked well treating both issues.

Clonazepam

I cut down to .25mg per 3x/day now. been a long ride. never take a benzo over a 10 day period. if your Dr says it is ok, fire him/her. it is not. only good in high doses long term for extreme disorders of siezures in the young. not for anxiety, sleep, etc. don't start it ever. there are some benzo's that are immpossible to get off of according to my neurologist. in a few short months i should be free and clear of this nasty drug. a very well known and respected Dr in this area presc... I take carbimazole and had very swollen eyes.A very good specialist opperated on them and took away all the fatty tisue.The difference it made to my self confidence is imeasurable.I could not thank this man enough.That was twelve months ago. I am still on carbimazole and so far my eyes have not swolen again.Im still having double vishion but only when i walk alright sitting down.
