Experienced moderate flushing during my first usage but it occured 12 hours after taking the pill. It was a scary experience because I thought any side effects would hit a lot sooner. Flushing occurred about 4 hours after taking a pill the second day; this time I noticed my knees and ankles turning red - flushing was limited to face, neck, arms the first day. When I first started taking it the pill started to regulate my cycle but did not help with the painful cramps and bleeding that I was having. After about a year on the pill my cycles became irregular again and we tried several other birth control methods to see if it would regulate and I did not have any success. I still believe that this is the best birth control pill on the market though

I finished taking my last dose the day after christmas 2009. I felt fine until it was actually time to take the next scheduled dose. That is when my life had begun to change. This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days! I was on 125 mg and reduced down to 100 mg over about 4 weeks (yes very slowly) and my jerky limbs side effects have gotten worse. I also find my sleeping patterns are all over the place. But I feel so much better than before that I don't want to stop taking them.
