Loestrin has been effective for me. My periods are much less painful and occur less than they used to (2-3 days every month). I don't bleed hardly at all and cramps are minimal. Also, I've lost weight on Loestrin and I generally feel better.

Dear Friends, I came across this website while doing a yahoo search on simvastatin. Am glad to know, am not alone. I am 42, i was prescribed to take simvastatin for blood pressure on 17 Dec along with other drugs clopidogrel and omeprazole after my ct scan for heart chest pain. My ct scan came clean. I was taking high doses of hydroCodone with tylenol, so this drug is far better less disruptive, and less addictive both in taking it and in stopping it.

i have no energy if i dont take it exactly at the same time everyday - i start to get angry, irritated, emotional... i start to feel rage - i cant control it. it gets worse and worse the longer i forget... i usually snap on my boss or break up with my boyfriend for no reason if i forget to take it in a 24 or 48 hour period.
