Went to the doctor after about two years of being in constant bummed-out moods. He diagnosed me with dysthymia (mild, chronic depressed state), and prescribed me with Celexa. After about a year, my moods are much improved and normalized, I can concentrate on tasks better, and I don't dwell on negative experiences. The main issue with the medication is that I think it makes me a bit more tired, though I have always required a lot of sleep.

I was very depressed and had thoughts of suicide due to debilitating pain and loss of mobility, and was walking the floor at night, unable to sleep, crying, wishing I could die just to be free of the pain. I had over a year of this pain,with countless visits to the doctor and an ever-increasing deformity in my hands. Betaserson did seem to help control my MS a little. I still had attacks every few months. My most severe attack to date was while taking Beta. I now own a wheelchair because of that attack. Really did not like the side effects and had a constant low grade fever while taking this drug.

Ativan was Rx'd my mother, after awful side effects developed using Seroquel. We used half the max dose rec by her doctor. Mom is 90 and has almost stage 7 Alzheimer's. She was Rx'd Seroquel after being combative in the hospital and having "wanna die" delusions. After the initial calming Zonk of Seroquel, she started to develop severe rigor mortis, choking, facial tics, tongue weirdities. I researched and got her off it quick.
