Since going on this pill, I developed SI Joint Dysfunction. I didn't think the pill had any affect on it, but I went off it for 3 months and had relief of my symptoms. Not complete recovery, but much better. Then I went back on TriCyclen and three days later the severe pain came back. I took the pill for another week without relief. Then, I decided to stop the pill and the pain subsided. I'm about to try the pill one more time for confirmation of the symptoms.

This was, by far the most terrifying drug I have ever taken. At first I was overjoyed by the results. I will never deny this: Singulair was, hands-down, the best drug I ever took for the seasonal sinus infections that I thought were brought on by allergies. Drug was helpful in the short-term (6 months); decided to quit with a quick 6-week taper 3 years ago because of weight gain, loss of motivation for virtually any activity, and overwhelming feeling of physical malaise; experienced truly horrific withdrawal symptoms (see www.paxilprogress.org for others' experiences) had to go back on drug; have now completed 1st year in what will be a 2-year taper off this drug. Stay far away from this drug; there are much better options out there for you.

Claritin RediTabs are my preferred allergy medicine choice, especially during spring when everything's in bloom. It worked very quickly and I didn't need water to take them because they are dissolvable tablets. It was extremely effective. My severely runny nose went away, I stopped sneezing, and my watery eyes cleared up. I had a little bit of a dry nose, but I think that was mostly from using too many tissues.

This was first prescribed by a neurosurgeon to replace MS-Contin he said due to the insurance coverage not paying for the MS-Contin. But since changing specialists, I find it difficult to get any other physician willing to write a prescription. They say that the DEA is cracking down hard on pain mgmt. doctors and primary care doctors who write out requests for this medication.
