I was also put on an anti depressant because my doctor thought i was depressed because I broke down crying in his office when he asked me how i was feeling, whether i was having suicidal thoughts or not. Pristiq has improved my feeling of well being 100%. The worst side effect is the blurred vision and I am concerned if I should go off the drug, and if my vision will return to normal after quitting the drug. I have also experienced sweeling in my left lower leg. Don't know if it is my first time with shin splints or if it has to do with the drug. Had a very mild and only occasional headache during the first three days.
