I am currently expiriencing severe back problems and it's a dilemma. The M.D prescribed (Morphine Sulfate) which is used to treat agonizing pain. I was told to take it (bid), of course running the risk of possibly becoming addicted to the narcotic. I took it as prescribed by necessity and recommendation. My mom is 82yrs old and has alzheimers. She is in a nursing home and was given Ativan after she fell in the middle of the night. She had a bad reaction to this med in the hospital and wasn't supposed to take it. Now it is 5 days later and her memory is WAY worse. Can this have long term effects?

Well, my mood is better. I can get to sleep without every bad thing that has happened in the past 20 years going through my head. Have energy to get up and do things. Overall this stuff is great, except my sex life has gone to hell. I can get an erection, but it does n't progress any farther along, doesn't feel any better than peeing and no climax. But hell, at least I'm not depressed about it. really.

This drug was efficient on my high blood pressure, despite of side effects at the begining of the treatment, but after 3 years, it became non efficient and the doctor had to change the perscription.

The disk is very convient and portable which is a plus but the after taste is pretty bad. I sometimes have a cup of water a little afterwards to wash away the taste. I also experience some stomach cramps and dizziness at times, which may be due to the medicine.
