I am a long time user of birth control pills, and ended up on Reclipsen just 6 months ago because my insurance would no longer cover my old birth control pills. I would strongly discourage women with anxiety and/or depression from taking this pill. I've suffered from anxiety and depression for years, which is kept in check by medication, however by week three of my first pack of this pill, I experienced depression so severe that I did nothing but sleep and cry for a week. As if that were bad enough, I went through two weeks of daily panic attacks which sent me to urgent care twice and eventually to a counselor to eliminate them. Please tell your doct... I picked it because it was a low dose option and I get migraines with higher dosage pills. Also, I liked the idea of not having periods. I did not get migraines but I got short, irregular periods any time. It was worse than getting one predictable period.
