My Daughter will be 13 in one month and received her 2nd shot of gardisil two days ago. Within 3 hrs of receiving the shot, she was curled up on the couch with extreme pain in her legs, dizziness, nausia, and a splitting headache. Have been taking Topamax for about 5 years for migraines. At one point I was up to 300 mg/day but am now down to 200 mg/day. This medication has been challenging at times. I have experienced all the typical side effects to varying degrees. The most challenging side effect for me is the speech aphasia that I experience. I really like Cymbalta. I feel like it helps balance me, so that I don't respond based on my emotions I feel at that time, but rather I respond based on careful and clear thoughts. I still feel the emotions, but can control them so that they don't over-rule my rationality.

I used Zicam a lot whenever I started to feel sick, and I think it worked (it can be hard to tell because the cold was only developing, but it never got any worse). Unfortunately, I used the Zicam Q-tips as well and lost some of my sense of smell. Now I do not enjoy food as much because I cannot taste it.
