Was prescribed this drug for acute bronchitis. Was coughing severely. After start of treatment, I felt as if I were tearing avery tendon in my chest wall and back. 5 wks later, am still unable to move well or pick up even slightly heavy objects. When I sneeze, I still feel as if I'm tearing tissues in my chest wall. Did not seem effective on my bronchitis. This SHOULD NOT BE PRESCRIBED FOR ACUTE COUGHING!

I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. I think I would be in a wheelchair if I never took Avonex. Ceftin

I was given Ceftin to treat a possible sinus/ear infection. I developed antibiotic-associated colitis after taking it. While I took the Ceftin, however, there were no side effects to speak of.

I've been taking this medication for almost 2 years now. It is absolutely great in controlling my acne and I haven't seen improvements like this with anything else. It is extremely effective and works almost immediately. I wouldn't know what to do without it. Apart from the dry lips and skin, and frequent thirst, the medicine does induce depression in me, to the extent of people asking if something is wrong. There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me.
