I did feel better in the beginning. There is a noticeable energy lift and feeling of well being. But unfortunatly there is also intense emotions and difficulty breathing, expecially in bed. I don't like the feeling of slight suffocation. It causes me anxiety. For that reason I am seeing my doctor and electing to take the shot instead. One of the side effects of birth control pills is abnormal vaginal bleeding. That could mean anything from spotting for a day or two to practically being on your period all the time. You may just be experiencing this because it is your first month, and your body hasn't had time to adjust to the new hormones. I've found Aspirin and Advil to both pretty equally keep my headaches/migraines under wraps. I haven't seen any side effects any time that I have used either medication.

Benadryl is my first choice when I have an allergic reaction. I'm allergic to seafood, I take a capsul before I eat seafood and I don't even up with a rash.
