Lyrica is ok for treating anxiety conditions like GAD. It works well but the confusion/dizziness at dosage above 300mg per day can be a problem. It does not have many gastrointestinal side effects but I find that it irritates a long term gastritis problem of mine. Lyrica is a good alternative for those who cant tolerate conventional antidepressants or those who would like to avoid the use of benzodiazipines. A year ago I started to notice painful bumps under my left armpit. I had gone to several doctors and they had given me a different antibiotic than Doxycycline. It had been a reoccurring problem for me so I just recently visited the dermatologists where he did tests and found it to be a MRSA infection.
