I have experienced severe anxiety and depression, coupled with incessant coughing and difficulty breathing. The joint pain has been unbearable. I would wake up at night feeling as though I was being tortured, in too much pain to even turn over. At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. First few months just some occasional spotting--I thought I was just getting used to it--but by month 5--I was bleeding for over 2 weeks straight--not really heavy--but enough to have to wear a pantylin... Unfortunately Microgestin Fe has caused me to have bloating and irregular stool, breakouts and a change in skin type from normal to Oily, extreme gas, stomach cramping that lasts weeks at a time, I have not had weight gain but my body does appear to be swollen (not only to the sight but to the touch), fatigue. I do not recommend this drug.
