I was put on Lyrica for fibromyalgia. I started out on a very low dose since I don't handle meds very well. 25 mg once a day for two days, then 50 mg for two days, then 75 mg for two days, then 100 mg for two days. On the day after I took 75mg (I took the pills at night) I started bleeding! I am post menopause. Haven't had a period in over 16 months. Now I'm having a hard time. I realize the Ramipril has helped lower my blood pressure but the constipation is hard to deal with. It's the only drug I take and before taking Ramipril I was never constipated to this extent. I'm thinking maybe I should be trying something else or quit taking Ramipril to see if is the culprit. The reason I started taking Ramipril - I had a hysterectomy in Oct 2014 and that's when my blood pressure got out of wack and was prescribed Ramipril.
