It helped relieve my acne. The only reason for my liver damage and fever is because I got Mono. Dry lips and hands while on Accutane were uncomfortable, but worth getting rid of my acne.

At first I didn't really have any side effects.Then about a month into the pack,I noticed I was very irritable,moody,short tempered and slightly angry. I also noticed that the last week on each month my breasts were soo tender they hurt. I still get some cramps and pms.I am starting to wonder why am I even on these paticular kind. The first couple of days were great but a couple of times, i started to hallucinate and then i had an extreme headache, the worst i ever had. They had to call doctors in the hospital to do some brain scans.

I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... I am hoping that this will change and become more affor... View full comment
