I was 17 when I had my 3 Gardasil shots and 17 when I was diagnosed with RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS following the shots. It took a year for doctors to realize I had RA because I was a competitive athlete (they thought my joints were swollen because I have always been an athlete). I'm not the biggest fan of taking any sort of pill. The ibuprofen served its purpose, period. I can not see myself taking ibuprofen for an extended period of time, or developing any sort of dependency from it.

My daughter had two of the three injections. Before Gardasil she was in excellent health. One month after the second shot she came down with what seemed to be mono, but multiple tests proved she did not have mono. She was unable to even sit up in bed for two weeks.
