I take vitamin C to improve my immune health. Overall, I think it works but can't really prove it because I never had frequent cold symptoms to begin with. I figure a pill a day can't hurt.

I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations. Last year I visited the US and whilst out witout my usual headache medication bought the Excedrin Extra Strength Express Gels. My doctor is switching me to Luvox CR to see if it improves my difficulty with short term memory loss. I have also begun to have a terrible time waking up in the morning. In reading about Luvox it seems that it is effective without the memory loss associated with Cymbalta on occasion. As we lowered the dose from 90mg to 60mg there was not a really signifigant increase in short term memory so switching to Luvox CR is our next option. I have taken Ibuprofen when I've had sever headaches, cramps, and stomachaches. It has worked every time. I experience no side effects and it takes pain away pretty quickly.

I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm. I am luckily a very fast responder to Prozac. When we need to adjust the dosage, I notice a difference within a day or 2. Take it in the morning or it might keep you up at night!
