The first time I took this pill, it did exactly what it was supposed to do- my infection was gone in a matter of days. No stomach pain or indigestion. This time, it's been awful- I spend an entire night throwing up and suffering from diarrhea ... I had taken the pills along with some allergy herbs, had waited till 3hours had passed since dinner, but still woke up at 2 and was up the rest of hte night. I like Zicam because it gets rid of my very stuffy nose when I have allergies, i just spray it once or twice and it gets rid of my congestion and stuffy nose. Overall good medication to get rid of allergic congestion.

Have been taking Topamax for about 5 years for migraines. At one point I was up to 300 mg/day but am now down to 200 mg/day. This medication has been challenging at times. I have experienced all the typical side effects to varying degrees. The most challenging side effect for me is the speech aphasia that I experience. This drug destroyed my GI system. I experienced nausea and abdominal pain within days of taking the first dose and sporadic gas and diarrhea the entire length of my treatment. Even after I stopped taking this drug, it took 2 years for my stomach to regain any sense of normalcy.
