The first 2 months were hell. It felt like every thought had to be pulled through a vat of mollasses to be had. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours in a row, couldn't remember the simplest figures and had to drop 2 classes at school. However, my viral load went undetectable in 30 days and by about the third month things started to get a little better and now I hardly notice the side effects. Ambien is great to get a good nights sleep if you have trouble. It makes me a little groggy the next day but that doesnt last very long. The doctor told me that it isnt good for long term use though because it can be habit forming.
