Ibuprofen works when I need minor pain relief, although I cannot say whether or not it works because of the actual drug in the pills or as a result of the placebo effect. Either way, it makes me feel better and they're non-addictive (to me at least), so I will stand by my Ibuprofen

Strong raspberry leaf infusions are the ONLY thing that has ever relieved my menstrual cramps and accompanying symptoms, such as nausea and diarrhea. Pharmaceuticals have never helped my cramps. I also use raspberry leaves and berries infused in apple cider vinegar during my menstrual cycle as the vinegar extracts a great deal of nutrients in the leaves (calcium, magnesium etc) that help with cramps and pms, as well as the high iron in the berries. Yes! I have had the same thing, except it starts while I have the ring in. After about a week of having a new ring in, a twitch develops under my left eye and lasts until I take the ring out. I am going to bring this up with my doctor because this can't be good....
