This benzo is a joke! Doc's are just being cautious by trying these alternatives, thus, not having to prescribe Xanax, Valium, etc. Stand up and tell your doc the truth if isn't working the way you would think

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... I used to take diovan and tenoretic - switched to tenoretic and benicar - I experienced extreme hair loss and gout. plus diovan was expensive. Decided to try benicar but seems worse. Lightheadedness, dry mouth, dry stool, gout. Don't know what else until I get results from my check-up. I just don't feel right. This just doesn't work. I keep it just as a rescue inhaler because I'm seriously asthmatic and take Advair Diskus religiously. When that fails me (occasionally) I've always used albuterol, but now they took my old standby away I'm stuck with this. Frankly, having a cup of coffee works a whole lot better. I marked that it had made my stress level go up because yeah, it's kind of stressful when you CAN'T BREATHE and your rescue inhaler doesn't rescue you.

this is the medication i hate the most due to the fact that i bruise a lot and i bleed easyly. i work on cars and if i get cut by mistake i tend to bleed a lot.
