Claritin makes me drowsy so badly that I have to stop doing my work and go to sleep. Day after I take the medication, I have headaches and feel dizzy. I also get nose bleeds but they are not severe enough to go to the hospital.

My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything. I take Loestrin mainly as birth control rather than to relieve irregular periods. It's been an effective birth control but it can give me occasional cramping and abdominal pains.

I did not want to take it initially because I'm used to over the counter remedies, but at the suggestion of my chiropractor, I decided to take it. I am pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of it. At the same time, I feel a bit relieved that I am not taking too many over the counter anti-inflammatories anymore. I'm not really interested in burning out my liver and/or kidneys!

I have pretty bad anxiety/OCD and Pristiq doesn't really help me with that. Maybe a little, but not much. I don't feel depressed taking it. Noticed my hair is falling out a little faster since I started taking Pristiq, but I'm a guy in his late 20's and it was already an issue, just not to the extent it is now.
