I have bacteria in my stomach and was prescribed prevpac. I have had just about every imaginable side effect or reaction including constant headache, diarrhea, nausea, awful metallic taste in mouth, small rash that did go away within 2 days, mild itching, yeast infection, muscle cramps and pains, and awful dizziness. I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. I have also been experiencing an unusual amount of acne breakouts and irregular periods. I used to have a clockwork 28 day cycle, now my period will be MIA for 30 days at a time, every 2-3 months. I was prescribed Etizolam ,5 mg for my CBT sessions of Agoraphobia. As of now, the therapist and I are only working on the lower range of anxiety inducing situations (I was asked to rate anxiety situations). The medicine has helped in the sense I am able to face these situations and some of the physical symptoms (legs shaking etc) have disappeared. I take 40 mg of this medicine, and I have been taking it for over 10 years. It has worked 100% to keep my cholesterol levels down, and I have never experienced any side effects.

Please reconsider getting that third dose - it could cause much worse physical issues. Our daughter became disabled after the second dose.

This medication along with Prometrium has changed my life. I was a balling maniac. If some one asked how are you doing I would burst into tears. I was having hot flashes that where making me feel like all of a sudden I was thrown into a 500% pizza oven. Now life is good. No more out burst of tear, swollen eyes, of feeling like some one was useing my eye balls for an ice skating rink. THANKS A LOT
