Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep. Albuterol made me really jittery and uncomfortable. Yes, I was able to breathe, but my body felt wierd and my heart raced. Advair is expensive! It's like $40 a month!! I tried to get my insurance to explain to me why so pricey, they said that's how much it is...you pay for 2 co pays w/ Advair cause it's 2 different drugs in one.

I was also put on an anti depressant because my doctor thought i was depressed because I broke down crying in his office when he asked me how i was feeling, whether i was having suicidal thoughts or not. Turns out its these damn pills that are making me feel crazy.
