I took this a few years ago and had HORRIBLE side effects and stopped it within one month. I developed horrible cramping, diarhea, blood in my stools. I also had severe abdominal pain that turned out to be kidney infarctions (like a heart attack in my kidneys) that was due to blood clots. The doctors could find nothing else wrong with me that would cause these symptoms. I stopped using NuvaRing and these symptoms immediately disappeared.

After reading alot of reviews before I started Quasense I was thinking whatever every girl thought "no way am I trying that!" But my OBGYN convinced me to try it and so I did. i have had serious diziness, feel heavy headed, head feels fuzzy, lack of concentration, also my eyes feel very heavy and ache sometimes, my vision is almost blurry - i absolutely hate the way i feel and am on the verge og depression, and no doctor to date has said that the way that i feel can be a side effect of lymecyline, so i have stopped taking them as of today and so far no improvement...but need to give it some more time probably.

The first three months were hellish. i constantly needed to throw up. my head hurt. i was exhausted. after that everything calmed down. i still feel nauseous in the mornings but it's bearable. i'm much calmer. my enthusiasm for certain things has dulled and i'm pretty sure my sex drive has decreased. but it was pretty darn high to start off with so situation still isn't critical :-) my sensitivity (physical) has decreased though which is a down side. my sense of urgency has gone which is good...
