Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors. Overall, my experience with Proventil inhaler has been a positive one. It provides me with rapid relief of my asthma related breathing difficulty. My only complaint is the tendency to feel jittery/restless after using the inhaler. This side effect makes me reluctant to use Proventil at bedtime or near the hour of sleep.

Esipram (Lexapro) saved my life. I had suffered major chronic disorder for 18 years and no other anti-depressants helped. Some (Prozac) made it worse. I was taking tranquilizers every night and seeing a psychiatrist at least weekly. The anxiety attacks were horrendous and nothing helped. I still cannot believe the difference Esipram made. My anxiety has simply vanished. Virtually no side effects. I was able to stop all tranquilizers and I now see the shrink every 6 months instead of weekly.... View full comment

I have a inherited increase in Lpa, and LDL levels that can cause stenosis. This is the only drug that effectively decreased my levels of Lpa and cholesterol. Used with a small 5 mg dose of lipitor, Cholesterol is 120, HDL is 73, LDL is 35 and Lpa is 37.

I have suffered from depression before when I was in high school, and I was on different anti-depressant. I had side effects and the worst was the insomnia. I like wellbutrin just because it does not have this side effect.

It is ridiculous how Drs tell you to take half the drug at night, so you will be trying to sleep while the drug is not trying to keep you alert and active. And being dopey in the day because you have not got enough betahistine in you during the day to get you past the threshold for it to be effective. Take most of it early in the day. It is pointless taking it after 3pm you wont get the best use of it. Most Drs are very ignorant in its use and wont prescribe even the minimum amount... View full comment
