I got my thyroid radiated 9 yrs ago and went hypo soon after. I was prescibed levoxyl but I have never felt the same. I still have a goiter but smaller. I'm often cold and have low energy but my hands shake and at night I have trembling in my torso and arms. If my thyroid was radiated, is some of it still active and can I switch to different meds.? I just recently developed seasonal allergies, so I've been taking this for a few months. I like it more than other meds, such as Benadryl, because it doesn't make you drowsy; you can actually take it at work.

Tylenol works for me as a decongestant. I mainly take it so i can sleep when I have a cold since it clears my airways and helps me breathe better

I take Benadryl D for Sinus and Allergies and on occasion, Benadryl Severe Allergy and Sinus Headache. I find that Benadryl does NOT work in hot or humid weather and my nose becomes very stuffy. For Benadryl to take FULL effect, I need to be in a very cold room around 70 degrees. Also, the effects wear off every 4 hours or so and the stuffiness in my nose increases with the intake every four hours instead of decreasing.
