My four-day experience with Pristiq was simply not worth hanging on for better effects down the road. I experienced extreme nausea and headaches. For this reason along with the fact that my insurance company would pick up only $11.00 of the $125 per month cost, I stopped cold turkey. I was prescribed Cloxazolam about 7 years ago by a Neurologist in Portugal due to an irritating vibration felt in my head & neck, particularly when trying to sleep. The drug just helped me to sleep a little better. I started to reduce the dose to 1mg several weeks ago from the 2mg prescribed and then to 1/2mg 3 weeks ago and now I have stopped completely. First 18 months of treatments: smooth sailing. Then the infusion reactions started. They are starting earlier in the infusion and lasting longer after the infusion. It's scary, but we are trying to keep on top of it with anti inflammatory meds.
