M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. It's a quick fix but the powder is just HORRIBLE/BITTER. Maybe you could introduce flavors to soften the BITTER taste of it.

I have been taking 2 mg xanax for over ten years. I stop taking it every once in a while after reading negative effects . It helps me with my constipation. I do have a hard time when trying to get off of it. I experience nausea, and become quite ill for about 4 days. I do not know if I should stay on it or not . I would like to know if there is any long term effects on being on it for an extended length of time.

I was prescribed dexamethasone for severe inflammation in my tonsils when I had mononucleosis. I was unable to swallow and had difficulty breathing due to my enlarged tonsils, but the dexamethosone improved the swelling significantly very quickly. It made me very hungry, but I had also lost a lot of weight from my illness, so this side effect was not bad for me. Zoloft has completely changed my life. For the first time I am actually happy and my severe OCD is finally under control! I would recommend it to anyone esp those with OCD. No side effects except weight gain...I gained 20lbs in 3 months. But besides that, the best anti-depressent ive ever taken.
