I got poison ivy and used cortaid to alleviate the itch. It made it go away pretty fast and I was satisfied overall with it. In some of the open blisters it really burned.

My daughter was very seriously sickened by this poison and the CDC and the Senators and Congressmen still say they consider the risks/reward ratio. Bull! When 14 children are hurt by cribs they recall all cribs and stop selling them. When the Toyota pedals were "sticking" (so we are told...) and somewhere around 7 people are hurt and they make the big to do, but 59 deaths are reported along with an astronomical amount of damaged girls and they say 'weigh the risks'? If you can get the migraine early, it works like a charm. Catch it a little too late (sometimes I'm not quite sure if it's sinus or migraine..) and my life will at least be bearable for the 3 days I would have formerly been flat on my back with ice packs on my head. Depending upon the headache, I've used pills, nasal spray, injections.
