When I switched to Microgestin I started getting extreme dry mouth, especially at night time when laying down. I will wake up in the middle of the night and my mouth/gums will be completely dry to the point where I can't make my own saliva. Also, I've gained a lot of weight since taking it. i feel this way after almost one year (half that year was on the generic microgestin), and finally realized my feeling may be a side effect of junel. thought it was just me and didn't know how to control my mood. cryin right now actually :( i think i may skip tonight's pill and just stop birth control for good. the hormones are horrible for the environment anyways. i plan to start using condoms and natural family planning instead. ....or i may just try the ring bc it is supposedly much lower... I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! The next day my heart was racing and I started to hear music and talking that was not there. Then later that night I started seeing things that were not there! Horrible and very scarey. Ativan when combined and given with a Blood Pressure medicine lowers the Blood Pressure to an considerable level Infact The Blood Pressure can go toooooo low and the heart rate also slows down.

Although it has helped my allergies a lot the only problem I have is that it doesn't last for 24 hours like it says it will. 12 hours is the max sometimes even sooner. It is gradually getting better though.

About 2 hours after taking the pill every morning I'm in a bad mood and it stays that way for most of the day. I have noticed that I am feeling more depressed and irritable... totally not me.
