My wife took Prednisone for treating a rare skin disease. She started having severe side effects like chest pain, restlessness, increased heartbeat, feeling mental madness, high irritability. Afte 2 days of taking it she had to be taken to emergency for recovering from side effects.

I have been taking Carbimazole medicationf or 5 months now. I find it very expensive and beginning to think the Radioactive iodine therapy is my next step. Is it not easier to treat the hypothyroidism than hyperthyroidism?? I have been battling extreme itchy feet and hands - mostly later in the day.

This medication has been VERY effective in diminishing my stone frequency. I have not been in significant pain since i started the prescription, so I have been very pleased. I have been on it for over a month now, and I am still having the stomach problems that I had in the beginning, but now I notice that I am bruising easily, often, and quite severely. I found that metronidazole made my skin more sensitive to the sun. My dermatologist reccomended that I only apply at night before I go to sleep but that didn't help. Soon after I stopped using metronidazole and started putting on sunscreen daily, my face cleared up.
