I'm aware that the drug should not be taken with alcohol, but as I drink regularly I figured I could predict the results. I planned on just a more intensified reaction to alcohol or maybe a feeling of light headed-ness. Turns out, it causes (to me at least) blackouts and erratic behavior after only two or three drinks. I have osteo arthritis and bone on bone in my knees. Previously, I took Glucosamine-Chondritin/MSM or Alleve and didn't get anywhere near the good results and had to be concerned about liver damage. I would advise some users to cut back their dosage if they are getting heart palpitations. Four per day sounds waaay to high.

the odor is terrible. it smells like a cheap musky cologne. it stays in my clothes and can still be smelled on my skin after i shower. i also feel paranoid about coming in contact with my wife (who is breast feeding) and my 2 small daughters.

Terrible! Try getting off this medication! It messes up your brain chemistry. I ended up in the psych ward after the terrible anxiety after trying to taper off. I did not alleviate any nerve pain that I had or still have. It's cousin Lyrica is just as dangerous! I would not suggest either of these meds. Antisiezure meds should be used for that purpose only.
