This medication does not alleviate any cold symptoms except congestion. The taste is awful and causes a complete loss in appetite. Only used a few times then switched to another, better cold medicine.

Oxycodone HCl is far and away the best drug available in the UK for chronic pain. The problem is the blatant lie on box and PIL that the duration of action is 12 hours. In my experience I begin to feel pain at around six and am in agony again by 6.5-7 hours after taking. My doctor refuses point blank to issue me recue medications which I have to obtain through other services than the NHS. Terrible drug. I threw the last RX away. I felt like I had the flu for 3 months straight. Would not recommend this drug to anyone. I didn't feel that I needed it anyway, my choles was right at 200....my Dr tends to be a Drama Queen, so I switched Doctors to one that isn't so excitable about everything.

The first three months were hellish. i constantly needed to throw up. my head hurt. i was exhausted. after that everything calmed down. i still feel nauseous in the mornings but it's bearable. i'm much calmer. my enthusiasm for certain things has dulled and i'm pretty sure my sex drive has decreased. but it was pretty darn high to start off with so situation still isn't critical :-) my sensitivity (physical) has decreased though which is a down side. my sense of urgency has gone which is good... I am about to switch BC. i feel so emotional with this and i have 2 periods per month since taking this. i hate it... the doctor just says give it more time... but its been a little over a year and i have "spotting" or "period at least 2 times a month. thats more then i used to have before taking it!

I stopped using this because of the side effects. At first it was great. But then I began sleeping longer and longer. I had trouble getting up in the mornings and all I wanted to do all day was go back to bed. We adjusted the dosages which did help a little but not enough.
