Very effective at shutting down a migraine. The earlier in the development of the migraine the lower the dose I need to take. However.... over the last few years I have developed "chronic" or daily migraines and I think Zomig could be the cause. Have apt to see specialist to evaluate.

The initial hair loss was much more than I expected - probably half my hair if I judged by the thickness of my ponytail and lasted longer than expected probably 9 months from the start of my taking it. I didn't notice it too much for the first 4-5 months but I was also taking prednisone then. After I stopped the prednisone about 6 months in with the Imuran the hair loss became pronounced. Tylenol's really good for taking care of headaches. It usually takes a half hour for me to feel in kick in. It works better when you take it with food.

I researched this medication throughly before starting it, and i recommended it to my endocrinologist. this medication has both T4 (commonly found in synthetics) and T3 (also in synthetic form but not often perscribed) as well as T1 and T2 which are not manufactured yet as we do not know what their role is and it is believed then that they must not be significant. I would rather take one medication that provides all of the same hormones my body should be producing but isnt.
