I switched from Tri-Sprintec to Reclipsen because I was having breakthrough bleeding and was annoyed with it and wow, I wish I wouldn't have switched. Reclipsen gave me the worst bloating of my life. My stomach was actually in pain - so bloated in the last week of pills that I would have trouble wearing my normal-sized pants. I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm. It is common to experience some stinging or burning when you place the drops in the eyes. However, I hope the burning didn't continue afterward. If the burning doesn't subside after a short period of time, you should seek medical attention to ensure you aren't allergic to any of the ingredients or experiencing some adverse effect.
