We believe this to be the wonder drug for our child. Our son has exhibitted incredible and notable benefits from the oral suspension of L-carnitine (carnitor). Our child was slapped with a variety of different labels, ranging from lazy, lethargic, tired, to having ASD (autism). The effects of this drug were evident after approximately 3 weeks of consistent, daily administration of this liquid. We noticed an over-all improvement. works very well but is much too expensive. Also expect weight gain. Will probably change meds soon due to reasons stated above.

If you are taking Adderall XR it is important that you are meeting with an MD to best understand how it works. Also know, that Adderall XR is not a cure for adult ADD. It's important to read books and learn as much as you can. I know for me, I need to put my keys in the same place every time. I know when I study I need to eliminate as many distractions as possible. There are things that I do regardless of taking medication to put myself in a position to be successful. It takes work.

I have bacteria in my stomach and was prescribed prevpac. I have had just about every imaginable side effect or reaction including constant headache, diarrhea, nausea, awful metallic taste in mouth, small rash that did go away within 2 days, mild itching, yeast infection, muscle cramps and pains, and awful dizziness. I still have 4 days left and I really don't know if I'll make it. Good luck to those who take it! I normally don't react to medications with every single side effect listed, but... View full comment

Weird episodes where I feel furious for no reason...just descends on me like a migraine. My fatigue is better, maybe? At first, Provigil made a big difference, quickly wore down, and the switch to Nuvigil gave me a bit more energy again. It is doing something stimulating, since I've got much more anxiety and those rage attacks, but I don't know if it's really improving my quality of life or ability to function. I preferred Provigil - didn't have any sort of mood swings on it, even though... View full comment
