Elavil seems to get me out of my mood swings. I fell like my life is more in control and I have more confidence. I am able to do the daily chores and am able to concentrate better at work. It did give me mild headaces before, at he beginning, but in couple of weeks I got used to this drug. I am very dependent on it because if I skip a dose, I get moody and irritated.

This drug helped my stomach issues although I suffered from major side effects. I reported the side effects to my dr at least 3 times last year and she never mentioned it could be this drug. Of course, I read the precautions on my prescriptions but my side effects were listed as very rare. It just didn't occur to me that it could be my stomach medicine.

This drug put me in the ER 3 times. Its extremely dangerous to take it. DO NOT GET ON THIS DRUG PERIOD. The side effects and the withdrawls outweigh any benefit it allegedly has. Do research and talk to your doctor about different drugs BUT do not go on this one if you value your life at all

This medication has been VERY effective in diminishing my stone frequency. I have not been in significant pain since i started the prescription, so I have been very pleased. I have been on it for over a month now, and I am still having the stomach problems that I had in the beginning, but now I notice that I am bruising easily, often, and quite severely. If you are in severe pain, I really didn't feel any effects. After surgery and a good bit of pain was removed, I found out that tizanidine is rather powerful. I usually take a small amount, 2mg per day, until my pain rises, then I take as needed up to maximum dose. I know when to drop the dosage when I feel like par-boiled chicken and my muscles feel like they're going to fall off my bones. That is one strange feeling.
