During the winter my hair tends to fall out while im taking this medication. I have been taking this medication since I was born and I have seen good results according to my bloodwork. I get my bloodwork done every 6 months and the only part I don't like is when they take my blood. Other than that I am very satisfied with this medication because the last time I went to the doctor's I gained 5-6 pounds !!! I was very happy about this !

I like it becuase it helps with sleep (to aleviate anxiety to fall asleep)---but when I wake up I seem "foggy"---and have VERY BAD short term memory (in the a.m.---ie. forgetting If I feed the dogs---10minutes after feed them..so I have to leave reminders for myself to make sure I did these things.....

The Ultram caused slight dizziness in the beginning which stopped after taking it for a while. It caused really significant memory problems initially. Now, when taking the medication, I mix my words up sometimes; but I do not feel confused. I can pretty much function normally. But I would use this drug cautiously in the elderly! This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through.
