I liked this medication, as long as I took it as indicated. The time when I had the worst experience is when I combined this medication with Lortab. Needless to say, that was stupid, and caused me to kind of freak out.

My personal experience the w/ProAir HFA, is not a favorable one. I am 39 yrs old and have been a life-long Asthma suffferer / survisor! However, within the past few months, my Asthma has gone into what I call an 'active / non-reactive' phase. Vicodin made to Nauseaous and Dizzy / Delirious that I had to switch to Darvocet. Since I have a very high tolerance to pain medication, it took the "edge" off of my pain, but it was so small an amount of pain relief that it was not worth the side effects for me.

I can't imagine taking this for another 4 years. It was hard enough to get through cancer treatments, but to have to deal with this on top of all that is unconceivable. Trying to keep my vigor and conviction to heal, but without sleep and so much pain it is difficult to say the least. After finding out I had Graves Disease and thyrotoxicosis in January 2010 I was put on carbimazole (think I had symptoms for nearly a year but always put them down to something else, maybe "change of life" etc) After only 6 days I had a severe allergic reaction to the carbimazole that nearly lost me my life!
