Claritin-D 24hr worked great for my allergies. I took is for years, then started to have heart problems. The culprit Claritin-D. I still continue to have heart problems after being taken off the medication, it caused damage to my heart that willNEVER go away . I'm a 26yr old female who's life will forever be changed for the worse because of this. Please keep an eye on your blood pressure and heart rate while taking Claritin-D

I woke up on vacation and couldnt sheep due to congestion. I had symptoms of a possible heart attack. I think it was heartburn/chest pressure and tingling in mt hand and lower arm. I am only 38 so I thought this was odd and did not wake my husband up to take me to the hospital. I was so scaredand have had symptoms for days! Severe Nerve pain following surgery to remove a benign tumor. At a very high dose, the pain is controlled, numbed which is a blessing. Side effects arent real good though. Dry Mouth is real bad, Drowsy and tired, loss of sexual function, mental fog, loss of memory, confusion, twitching muscle spasms. Have tried other meds, but this is the only one that has controlled the pain, and unfortunately that makes it worth it for now.
