While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that. I was on Binicar for 3 weeks with no reduction in blood pressure. My values were 150/90 (monitored for three weeks with cuff) Dr put me on Azor. 5mg/20mg Four (4) hours after first dose BP was 135/72. I will continue to document reading for 1 month to see if the values remain low at different times of the day.

I have taken this pill for almost 2 years now and have learned that my body likes steady state pills a lot more than tri cycles. The only side effect I had was a small stomach ache within an hour of taking the pill for the first couple days, and it was barely noticable.

I agree with Eammon that when I first started Amisulpride it was like a dream, but as I continued to take it my side effects have increased at an alarming rate. I sleep less than 7 hours each night, I am restless, agitated, have high blood pressure, frequently urinate during the night, unable to concentrate, poor memory, more manic, etc. I was on olanzapine , which was making me too drowsy and the weight gain was worse.
