Advil liqui-gels are effective quickly in treating headaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, etc. They are convenient and safe with little to no side effects (for me). I use it whenever I have pain, and the pain usually subsides within an hour or two and lasts that way for at least 4 hours.

Its weird, I thought I was going to have these awful side effects mentioned often. The only side effect, and for 2 days was mild nausea. It was prescribed for add. I do have a history of depression and I am currently going through a lot of stress. It has not helped me to concentrate more and I feel just as tired as before. Yet, for some reason, it has helped a lot my anxiety and stress. Right now, I am not sure if I should stay on it to deal better with stress and problems although it does no... View full comment

I started taking Januvia a year ago because my blood sugar had began to go up while I was just taking Metformin and hadn't been doing anything different than usual. Since I started taking Januvia in addition to Metformin I have noticed that my blood sugar is much more stable.

The first few days I took Trileptal I felt "drunk" but that vanished within the first week. Cognitive side effects such as severely not being able to remember words and short term memory loss were severe the first few months, but tapered off so that after the first 6 months I wasn't and am still not sure if it's the Trileptal or getting older (45) that's causing the now mild effects.

I think that lexapro is great for anxiety, they only two downfalls is it takes a while to build up in your system and begin to work and it costs a lot of money even if your insurance covers a portion of it.

I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment
