I'VE HAD A WEIGHT PROBLEM FOR A LONG TIME. HOWEVER, RISPERDAL DOES SEEM TO AGGRAVATE THIS. WITHOUT MY RISPERDAL I GET VERY PARANOID AND ANXIOUS. WITH MY RISPERDAL I CAN FUNCTION AND HAVE A SENSE OF PERSPECTIVE AND HUMOR. DRY MOUTH IS PREEETY BAD IN THE NIGHT. I have used Topamax for almost four years and I am very satisfied with the way that it helped my headaches (both daily and migraines). However, it has caused severe memory and concentration problems. I don't feel as if I can join in intellectual discussions anymore (I went to Harvard) and I am very forgetful. I'm now switching to Lamictal in the hopes that I'll get my brain back. This is a great drug if you don't lose your mind. I would for sure give it a try.

Using Carbilev for many years has improved my quality of life but I needed Sinemet 200mg at night so that I could function if I got up during the night. Was on Pexola for several years then did not do so well and came off and started Stelivo. Stelivo was used with Carbilev for about 6 months. I drink a tea or homemade soda of prickly ash daily (we have tons of prickly ash trees in the woods), to help with symptoms from mild hypothyroidism. I skipped a few days last week, and could not figure out why I felt so cold all the time. Then, I realized that that's how I always used to feel, before I started taking the prickly ash. Since restarting the prickly ash, my feelings of coldness have normalized again.
