My doctor recently switched me from pravastatin to simvastatin, since - despite weight loss and adding regular exercise and fish oil - my total cholesterol levels began to rise again. One supplement you should always take if you are on any of the statin drugs is Coenzyme Q10, as statins can deplete this nutrient from your body and cause muscle damage and worse. I was taking Yaz for my acne condition and it really seemed to help over the other products that I was using. I had no side affects to Yaz when I was using it and the only problem I really had was remembering to take it everyday since I was not really used to take birth control.

Osteoporosis of the jaw is not nearly as rare in patients taking Fosomax. That's why there have been several class action lawsuits against the drug. Keep in mind this drug is basically killing your bones, by destroying the bones ability to remove old bone marrow.
