I've taken only immediate release niacin. With twice a day dosing, I've never had any liver issues. Every time I try three times a day dosing, I eventually get elevated liver enzymes.

Benzamycin contains benzoyl peroxide so it is quite effective in treating acne. However, the longer I used it, the dryer my skin became. I even used moisturizers and went down from two applications a day to just one. Eventually, I just had to stop taking it. Also, it does not settle on the skin well and all throughout the day I could see the benzamycin on my face even underneath makeup.

my daughter now has had brething problems ever since getting these round of shots. tightness in chest,wheezing,can't catch her breath, any and every breathing problem you can think of. we've had to take her to the emergency room and shes been to the doctor several times and still going to the doctor. she's had perfect attendance in school for over 6 years until this shot, now she's already missed 11 days of school at least this year. if i had it to do over again, i would've never gotten this... I too am hyperthyroid. I was prescribed carbimazole and had an allergic reaction with a skin rash which erupted within days. I then was prescribed PTU, propylithouacil which I initially took at a very high dosage, namely 12 tablets/day and after several weeks lost my taste completely and had bad headaches. My consultant reduced the dosage to two/day after 2 months as I had gone underactive. I gradually regained my taste but then developed pains in my arms so bad I couldn't sleep on my sides...
